This oak and maple wood aged Imperial Stout is truly the cat's pajamas! The rich and complex flavour trhat resembles coffee, dark chocolate, hazelnut, maple syrup and vanilla come 100% naturally from our hand selected malt and wood with no additives or extracts "Because I f**king hate adding that sh*t into my beer" – Jason Li (Deadman Alchemist). The entire brewing process for this imperial stout took many moons. Due to the ginormous amount of malt, the mashing was separated into two different tanks. The mash was so thick, the lautering process took forever so we practically watched each other's hair grow. After we were done cutting each other's hair, the lautering was finally complete and we combined the two into a single batch. The intense yet subtle aroma and taste is best paired with absolutely nothing at all. Make sure your taste buds are squeaky clean before dissecting this beer with your nose, tongue and brain. the first thing we said after tasting it was "Holy Sh*t", hence the name "Holy Moly" was born.
