Double Vision's adventure-seeking Castaway has been off seeing what is beyond the blue horizon, but is back and better than ever. This isn't just a NEW LOOK, but a full REVAMP! DBV have changed so many processes and procedures from the learnings over the years that they decided to take on the challenge of updating them to their new standards: better practices, better equipment, better beer and a better look. Here is a nod of the hat for one of their original commercial beers, first brewed back in 2016 in the Brew Shed!
Light and crisp in body from Pilsner malts, with some smooth creaminess from a bit of wheat to soften the palate. Galaxy brings intense passionfruit, peach, and citrus notes. Motueka adds layers of zesty lime and lemon characterfor a tangy twist. Pacifica rounds it all off with subtle orange and floral hints, giving the beer a well-rounded, fruity bouquet. A little slice of paradise to drift away to.
